Villagers block highway over chinkara poaching in Suratgarh

Jaipur:
Villagers protesting against poaching of Chinkara in Suratgarh and
Sriganganagar district since Sunday blocked National Highway-62, which
runs from Pathankot (Punjab) to Kandla Port (Gujarat), on Tuesday.
The protesters held a rally with a poached Chinkara, which had been
kept in a deep freezer on a tractor. The protests began on Sunday
around 6am after farmer Bajrang Poonia from village 64 LNP in Suratgarh
found an injured Chinkara in the bushes.
