Heartbreaking Mourning: Mother Elephant Uproots Transformer That Electrocuted Her Calf

Elephants,
on many occasions, have manifested human-like feelings. Be it mourning
the death of a member of the herd, or protecting their calves.
Elephants have proved to be one of the most emotional creatures in the
animal kingdom.
More recently, a mother pachyderm avenged the
death of its little one by uprooting a transformer pole at an
agriculture land in Tamil Nadu's Chittoor district.
According
to a Hindu report, the incident took place in a field of Gobbilla Kotur
village adjoining the Koundinya wildlife sanctuary, in the wee hours of
Sunday.
